The most successful people are those who love what they do. But that doesn't mean they found their niche in this business right away. Every person you'll come across in this business (from director's assistants to executive producers) started at the bottom of the totem pole. People they worked with undoubtedly influenced them and those influences coupled with their interests and talents lead them in a particular direction.
Don't be swayed into some aspect of this business because of money or fame — follow your heart and love what you do. There are a vast array of careers in the television business; look inside yourself and find a job you will be able to hold near and dear to your heart.
